Mühldorf am Inn. Right in time for Christmas and with their usual generosity and sense of responsibility, ODU trainees and the management team presented a check for 7,000 euros to first responder representatives. In the context of the ODU Christmas party, ODU employees had purchased a great number of tickets for this charitable cause which included a prize draw on the side. An impressive sum was raised once again and all who participated were thrilled with the result. “Every year, our trainees organize a wonderful Christmas staff party for everyone to enjoy. If we can pass on a portion of this joy in a helpful way, all the better!” says Dr. Joachim Belz, clearly very proud of the trainees and staff, on behalf of the ODU management.
Every year, ODU supports a charitable organization from the region. This time it’s the first responders, a sub-organization of the volunteer fire department of Ranoldsberg, which is made up of certified volunteer first responders. They provide initial medical treatment in the case of an emergency event until qualified rescue services, emergency doctors or ambulances arrive. “No one wants to be in a situation where they need a first responder, but in such an event, these women and men provide vital first aid,” comments Dr.-Ing. Kurt Woelfl.
The prizes for the draw were mostly donated by ODU business partners and staff and demonstrate the close bonds and excellent relationships that have formed over the years.
